Terms of use
Last updated: 2 October 2026
The service
CodeItRaw is a game platform for learning programming by writing and reading code. It is in testing and free; features may change without notice and there may be occasional downtime.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not create accounts for other people or use CodeItRaw IDs that impersonate someone.
What you share
Community levels and profile texts are your content. By publishing them you allow CodeItRaw to show them on the site and let players play them. Illegal, abusive or infringing content may be removed.
Liability
CodeItRaw is provided "as is", without a guarantee that it is uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for indirect damages from using the service.
Fair play
The rankings, Clash and challenges are for code you write yourself. The editor records a summary of how the code was written (characters typed and pasted from outside, time, corrections) with each solve; in races, how often you left the tab and a recording of your typing are shown to the players in the room.
A solve containing code pasted in from outside counts as progress but does not enter the rankings. For solves that look doubtful or reach the top of a board, a short question about your own code may be asked before they are ranked.
Repeated strong signs of cheating on different levels take an account off the rankings. This is not a ban: you keep playing, and you can appeal through the contact page.
Trying to game the leaderboards, the races or other players (automated submissions, probing for holes, attempts to slow the service down) is not allowed and can lead to a ban and removed records.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Significant changes are announced on the site.
